Don't know the exact year that this series was discontinued.  The gold PoulanPro versions (PP375/385/395) were made in the early 1990's, after the green 3400-4000 saws were discontinued (at least in the US).  The PP versions all have the 4000 style starter and AF/AF cover (black for the 375, and grey for the 385/395).  375 has the 3700 P/C.  385 and 395 have the 4000 P/C.  395 has a chainbrake.  Again, this is just in the US market.   The Canadian and Australian markets are whole other animals.
