Thats a good looking saw, I have never seen one in person.  Any chance you got a weight on it?

No weight on it I really do not have a scale for doing so.  If I had to guess it would close to a 3700 or 4000.

I've never seen Mark give the PHO weight of a 3400 3700 4000 on his scales yet.   Seen a 305 475 etc.

I'm not a fan of altering original parts,  but I have to say that's some nice welding!
I'm a chainsaw hoarder & tinkerer.  The brand isn't usually important,  if the price is right I'll probably buy it.

To be honest I do not usually alter magnesium parts on saws but I looked and looked for a clutch cover with no chain brake and they just get to much money for them.   I also know that I would not find a brake either.   It did not cost me anything to get rid of the holes and frankly it was not usable that way.  Its weird I can find the clutch cover all day that takes the brake for 20 bucks but try and find a good one without the brake and all of a sudden it's worth 35 to 40 bucks.

Another upgrade to the 395.  A NOS chain brake.   These do not show up everyday.  I was thrilled to get it.
