I really do not know a whole lot about this saw except you are right it has alot of similiarities to the 3700 and others.   Alot of the parts are interchangeable.  I do not know what size the piston is and did not measure it when I had it apart.  I tried to find some info and did get an IPL for it and found that it is 65 cc but that is about it.   The rings are the thin ones just like on the 3700.  I was really surprised when I got almost a 180 psi out of it.
