pro 285 ignition

failing  to hit even with mix straight down carb. changed coil then changed flywheel. still nothing. saw was most reliable runner i had now nothing..  compression seems alright . coil was off unknown parts saw.

been trying to get signs of life for a week. always started 3rd pull.  then next time my son went to cut storm damage wood never hit once.

Have you taken the spark plug out and put it on top of the cylinder and then pulled it over to see the spark.
