Put the 425 top end with quad transfers on the 505 crankcase today so I can compare it to the 415 475 and Husky 362xp 365 SP . Right now it was pulling full comp and 24". Will be dropping the 65cc saws to 20's for testing.

Anyone know how many years the poulan 425 was made?  I am finding 1994 and 1996 listed for retail sells, so guessing 94 95 96 .

Just wondering if I should find another crankcase and crank to use for my orange project poulan, if the saw was a short run. My other parts 505 has white death inside crank area and crank was no good.

Just so folks know. 415 425 topends were the same.  The 425 was IMO a updated 415 with the same bearing and oiler set up as 505 445.
