PP445 70.7cc ad link that is in this thread. But I cant get the download to post  on CRG FB. So I printed it out and took pics the old fashion way.
My favorite of the series with its quad port cylinder design. 1996 Hope you guys that want the info can read it. I have sent the original link to those that wanted it in email.

Poulan 445 arrived yesterday. Cylinder and piston look like new. Witness marks on piston unreal new looking too.

Was sad to see one side of the plastic winged worm gear broken off though.   But no biggie.

Got a guy wanting to buy the 505 decal recoil cover for his 505 project. I may cut it loose.

Pic I forgot to post when looking at it.

Put the min together on PP445 #4 and she now is a runner. Sounds good.
Now to get all the missing pieces and put it together completely.

Did have a bad used ngk plug on bench I had to toss. It would just shut off like you flicked a switch off. Put another in it and ran fine idling etc forever. When I get her done a new Brazil or German bosch will go in.

This 445 I think I may try a metal worm gear in to test and see if we can backwards engineer them from the plastic worm gear. I have it ready to try someday.

UPDATE:  It will work if needed.  8)   http://chainsawrepair.createaforum.com/poulan/poulan-415-425-445-475-505-jonsered-2077-2083-2083ii-partner-660-710-7700-worm-g/

#4 445 runs. 1 and 4 runners, 2 and 3 bad big end crank bearings.

Cool with me all I want is those 71cc quad port cylinders.

He wants 117 shipped. He says cylinder looks clean inside.    Said he has it listed on ebay too.  So look there if not on FB.

Looks like metal clutch cover too. Least from looking at these pics, maybe.

445 let me know it was time for a carb kit today.

I'd be a liar if I didnt say this 441c m-tronic didnt impress me today.
15" to 15.5" dry ash cuts and then 20" buried in dry ash by both saws. Both 70.7cc for testing. The 441 to make sure ready to go back to owner. Was taking 20 pulls to start when came in.
The reg carb 441 when first came out didnt impress me back years ago. But that was also when I ran all ported saws.
I ran my 445 which I could tell wasnt right when started and giving throttle. Time for carb kit. But no excuse it still didnt feel as good in the cuts IMHO. This is the same 445 that out cut a opened dp muffler 440 and 372 OE back in the day when all ran same chains. Is what it is. I was impressed with the stock 441C today.
Think he is really going to like the new bar set up.
