All for not in the end. Not planning to put any more $ in it.

Probably just needs a piston kit.  I could clean it up and just rering for my use. But I wouldnt want to sell it that way unless owner fully understood.

So parts saw.

Not going to pull to even check to see if piston cylinder will clean up. Not worth my time IMO to just resell it.  Only get $75 for them.

The 6pak of Oktoberfest sold me 😋.  But also got a nice pair of husky chaps and a like new 4218 with case for my labor time.  Not bad for tuning and putting a set of seals in a 026.
Oh and sharpen 2 chains.

So all I got is some time in it all.

Hate that gimmick tool less side cover though.  Maybe next owner might want it.

Owner said it didnt want to start. Dumped old coffee looking mix out, put mine in. Used purge bulb to pass new through. 2nd pull started.

Poulan 4218 that is like new pulled 165psi.

The one with scuffed piston pulled 150psi that is a non runner.

Poulan 4218 carb settings were L 2 and H 1.75
Green strato was L 1.75 and H 1.6ish on new carb.

I was test cutting with 4218 with new owner showing how to's.  I'm talking just small 10" dry ash.   I forgot how slow going it was with the small saws with semi and safety chain.

Guy bought 2 saws. One for him and one for girl friend.  Both small saws.  But said they got the blown down trees done and reported back the good news.

Next time he needs a chain I am going to try and get him to go 3/8LP full chisel.
