poulan 5400 cylinder and poulan 8500 cylinder.

To me appears the 85 fins are angled shorter.

Guy in my crg asking for info on these. I knew what they were. Sticker number is wrong on big one.

Trying to get him to measure bore and see if I can buy it too.

Do the transfer ports look bigger on the 5400.    Not sure from the photo.

Not my pics. Just some I have requested for my search on their differences.
I had thought the 85 looked bigger trans when I first seen them. But betting same. Just a guess.

Will be measuring bore later to make sure it is a NOS poulan 8500 cylinder bore.

Is spoke for by several folks already so will start at the top. Pretty sure #1 said mark SOLD ;)

Many thanks to the person that sold it to me. Thinking this one will fit the whole series. The 52 54 have to be trimmed up and grind on to make work on a 85. Just what I have found researching them.

With my cheap calibers I get 2.058 which tells me 85cc. Mikes site shows 2.066 85cc. 77cc was under 2 at 1.957

Looks like the chance paid off for someone.

Pic of 3 NOS poulan full wrap 5200 5400 8500 handle

My question being I dont know these well.  I know the 5400 half was like this rubber cover and the 8500 was foam cover deal.

So do these full wraps fit all of the gen 1 2 3 series of the saws?
