I don't have a Poulan 5200!

I have a Craftsman 5.2 (5200 in red and black) and a Dayton but no green ones.
They evolved a bunch during their production run.
The first ones didn't have the rib down the front of the case.
They got the rib and then the case was elongated and the on/off switch moved.
Colors went from solid green to green with an olive drab top and then to a green body with black accents.
The case changed too but I'm not sure when.

Here are a couple pics to illistrate what Mike was refering to. About the ribbed front case. My 5200 must be an early one. Has the smooth front on crank case. My 4200 has the strengthened ribbed case. But yet they both have the one screw top cover, with the 3 posts. They changed that somewhere along the line also, to three screws in stead of the posts.

5200 smooth case

4200 with ribbed case
