So on the subject of 5200's and that particular line of Poulan saws.   What is it about them that gives them the torque that they have.   I was looking at the bore and stroke and they do seem to have a decent stroke to them at 39.69mm.  Some of the newer saws are only around 37 to 38mm for the stroke.   So is it then the stroke in combination with it being a reed valve engine that allows it to take in a higher volume of fuel mixture that makes these saws run so good.   What do you guys think.
