Chainsaw Repair

Test cut with my RA mix and RS chain in the dry ash log. 

Dumped and airing out now so I can air it off and get ready to pack up. 

That is pretty cool Kevin.  Not everyone would find a saw like this one and then offer it out there for what it costs from the seller.

Kevin, that 8500 you just let go had some great memorabilia involved with it.
7 time Hayward World champ Ron Hartill and his son Dale had great success with it in the 1980's.

Guy on the CRG just bought this running 160psi poulan 8500 bowsaw for $120 

Poulan 8500 I told a few about. I did go ahead and check it over. Piston had starting scuffing on exhaust side. Tank vent duckbill off.
Had very old stale mix in it. Why I figured it scuffed owner said he had cut up a bigger tree with it.
Got it cheaper due to piston. But she has good psi and starts up.  Have video of it running and idling.
Needs someone that wants to go though it for their collection.
Had red marker on decal and part of recoil. But wasn’t permanent. Wd40 removed most in one application.

Right now pending with local collector to pick up Sunday at cheaper price I was able to get at.
