I'm sure somebody sells those"mogul " nuts .Maybe MacMaster -Carr .We've got odd ball metric nuts hither and yon at work .Some with great big flanges for what ever reason .

Now I've made odd ball nuts and wierd bolts on the lathe and Bridgeport mill but it's a pain in the butt .An hour and a half for a 15 -25 cent  nut is not my idea of a good time .Some times though ya gotta do what you gotta do .
