Small and big intake boot side by side.
I know small 49 carb works ok with big boot
But does the throttle plate on 164 137 have enough room to work with out issues?
I don’t have any of those left to try.
I don’t see it rotating enough out to catch.
So check that with big carb on small intake.
Easton says big carb clears without catching on small boot. Thanks for update.

We were just looking for a work around for the saws with big boots and big carbs.
Since the big boots are NLA.
Just to keep the saws going.
Why small boot was looked at for a fix.
Not looking for gains, just looking to help folks keep their 330 3450 380 3750 going.

Can see in the one pic lots of space. 

Lot of space through tank. But will be on cylinder and carb bolts to stay.

Plenty of small intake boots out there still. Heck I have NOS, used and the aftermarket ones.
If you recall I sent a boot to Scott when at ChainsawR to be copied and they were made from one of mine I had. Thread on those here way back too.
