Wrong gasket.

I thought that last night too. But it looked right.
So I just went out and checked. The gasket is right and the diaphragm is right.

wait for it.......................  ;)

But I did find the cause for it. The diaphragm was double punched on its locating tab holes. Elongating them.
So when it was installed at factory or if someone rebuilt it before it was off if you didnt pay attention to it closely.

The one that came out was black rubberish style. The one in the kit I installed was the tan fiberish one. Only one in kit.

HDA-87  16.66 mm Venturi
HDA-117  15.08
HDA-120  15.08
HDA-144 15.08

Put these all together

HDA 49 12.7mm  Venturi
HDA 164  16.66mm
HDA 137 16.61mm
HDA 77   15.80mm

I was looking for a HDB I been using as a parts carb for a guy needing stuff for his poulan.
While looking I come across a husqvarna 262 walbro HDA87 I put back around 12 years ago. The one folks look for on the early 262xp. Found the HDB too.
