Super great coverage too.  Only 1 coat needed IMO.

Cool.  Did you clear coat it afterwards?  How does it hold up to gasoline exposure?

I didnt clear coat anything. Only because I dont care. I would clear coat if I was worried about it.   Didnt clear coat the homemade decals either, should have but again I dont care.
Sorry I'm just not into the painting side of restoring a chainsaw.  I like the as used look myself.

I am being careful when filling but bet it wrinkle etc but hoping not to find out.

My key lime green 505 looked  about the same as the sub lime green 5200 beside it today.  Thats how close that green in the can is.  Hope somebody got a pic of that.

I was looking at those two saws as you were comparing them and there was just not any difference in the color.

but isn't there any official color code about that?
Maybe I got it wrong, but till now, by coincidence, a certain company that sells multi purpose paint has a color in its programm that matches.
But this might change basically anytime from now? (new season, new products etc) ?

There is but have seen 4 or so different shades myself on poulans from oem.  Maybe just different batches over the years who knows.
