A long time ago they used to make transmission housings at the Foote foundry in Fredricktown Ohio .

It was a neat little tranny like a miniture car tranny .I haven't seen that style used in years though .

It's my assumption  that most likely only a few places make production runs of splitters which get sold under different names .Probabley made to specifications .Similar to Whirlpool and appliances .

I have to laugh thinking back of the Crysler 460 marine engines which were actually Ford painted gray instead of blue .It's kind of hard to figure out the players without a score card .
