you're right al. i've personaly never seen a reason for the multi wedges on a splitter. you don't save any time. people don't realize the time it takes to pick up all those pieces, sometimes having to make a few twists of the body to clear the table or the spot yer feet are. at the end of the day that mutli wedge may wear you out faster than a single, and no more done at the end of the day.
