Showing a guy in CRG the differences in square end piston and ring compared to what I consider normal piston and ring.

He was trying to put the normal ring on a square ring piston.

I thought I had remembered the micro series coming through my hands in past with Tilley carbs too. I found one in a bin yesterday with the parts saw I tore down. 

Poulan micro series tillotson carb pulled from micro bin.

Heck no clue if even original. Figure how much could be changed by folks over the years.


I just know it came on a micro parts saw like 12-15 years ago.  Seen others I have done with them too.

That confirmed what I was seeing on some of the early micro's I sold and traded to collectors.


Looking at the tilley application chart it list  3-4 models  micro's used the tilleys early on.   


Even this website shows a few of them. Same ones listed on tilley app chart. .    :t

Those saws listed is some of the ones I had that I thought I recalled seeing them on.
I was flat out told by a poulan guy it never happened and he was certain of it. I seen different so was thinking he was wrong. ;)  :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Some of the saws if not feasible builds got parted into bins. Why I still have this one micro tilley carb.

Poulan fuel line

3mm 0.11811 almost 1/8 inch x 5mm 0.19685    just over 3/16 inch

2 carbs were offered on 1800 2000 530035158 530069772 and only the one on 2300 530069772

I'll check my bought new 2000 in 94  others in bin.

Mine was small carb.  Pretty much out of these but about 5 carbs. 1 tilley bigger and walbro bigger, rest small and 1 smaller.
