Don't overlook the double lip - single lip seal differences and applications.

The one I took out is single lip with a spring and the one I just received is single lip with a spring.

Yep.
I was just wondering why the ones removed had numbers etc. I never noticed it on the ones I have removed. But of course I wasnt paying attention for that either.

The oem ones that I have actually have the Poulan part numbers on the rubber portion of the seal.

I use my 8 power magnifiers to see those numbers.

I should have done that back when square filing. But I fought it off.  Ones with light and all.

I use those magnifiers when using my chain grinders.   I like seeing what is going on with the cutter and get a good view of the results.   I am used to them because of all the watch repair I did for many years.
