Dragging up an ancient thread.  Was wondering if your PP236 had a chromed bore and bare piston.  Most Micro series saws have a plated piston and a 'naked' bore........................but some of the PP saws (such as the PP260) have chromed bores and bare pistons unlike their 'pedestrian' Poulan counterparts.  Was wondering if this was true with your saw.  I like the 2100/2400 rear handle Micro variants, and wish Poulan had done the same with their XXV series.
