poulan pro 295 oil issue
« on: August 14, 2018, 08:07:49 pm »
hello i recently bought a poulan pro 295 a later model of the bay saw was sold as a runner it runs but does not oil took apart the oiler cleaned it took out the oil pick up line cleaned it everything looks right except seems like the pick up is not making a decent seal ... i looked up the part for a few hours and it seems the new poulan pro 4620 come with a one piece pick up that slides over the spindle instead of the 2 piece mine has.. i ordered one it says it fits husqvarna and all the poulan of this line.... ya all know if this was a problem and why they went to a one piece rubber pick up hope it fixes it....this one the one on it is 2 pieces....i will let ya all know i also ordered a new pump even though the one on it seems to have no damage...

Tim aka fossil  said. = That was definitely a problem. The rubber would swell, cause the outer to sit at an angle and allow the pump to suck air.
The one piece hose fixed the issue.
