Thanks for the welcome, while the 325 is on the bench with the air leak problem I picked up the Tim Allen Bad Boy, arrg arrrg arrg! Bought it last year and seems to be a nice saw as well.  When things get serious on them big oaks and ashes, I bring out the Stihl MS 460 28 inch, now thats a saw!!

Which BadBoy? 60cc or 54cc. I had 3 of the 3750 ones and 1 of the 3450 ones.   So far only seen 1 3450 bad boy. Heard of 1 other though.

The PP325 and Badboy saws are also like by the poulan collector guys.  I like them as well, just for cutting with though.

Got a big poulan wild thing that will run with that 460 too.  ;)

Hmmm, I will need to check on that Badboy.  Bought it used last year 22inch badboy bar on it. Wont be till the weekend as I left it at the woodpile at my brother's...  Yeah I use the saws for cutting and not collecting.  It would be different if they were factory fresh then I might think about it.

I have one of those Bad Boys and was out using it again today.   I would take it any day over the Stihl 036 that I have.

Seller got back and said it was wrong picture. Said he had 11 saws for sale and the 325 pic was similar to the 330. Yea, right!
Bob

Funny, if he has 11 saws to sell, they aren't listed on EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-bay!!!!
You want me to ride down there and kick his ass Kevin??????

Mike

The first saw was built in Sweden during week 15 of 1990, and packed out in Nashville on day 206 of 1990.
The second saw was build in Sweden during week 09 of 1989, and packed out in Nashville on day 125 of 1989.
EMAB saws date code for this time period: first digit = last digit of year; 2 & 3 digits = week

Niko I never weighed any of my poulan pro 325 saws. They felt just like the partner 5000 saws in my hands.

Did find this info that puts it in that area of PHO weight and what they sold for new.  So they were only sold 3 years?

Thanks, that makes sense!

The main reason I asked is that the only specs I have seen for the P5500 show a weight of about 12.1 lbs (5.5 kg really).

I don't know how long those saws were made, in either color.

Btw, 1988 - 1990 indicates they all were made at the Husky factory.
