Pulled the new arrival over today. Felt good psi. So I checked impulse and fuel lines best I could. Looked at intake boot best I could by just eying everything and using forced air to clean off.

Fill up mix and bar oil.

Checked carb settings and set fat.

Fired up and oiler working great. Could tell letting off throttle it took time to come down. Thought hmmm air leak somewhere.  Did the side to side roll overs  nothing.

So went back in and loosened intake clamp to look under it with everything still attached. yep sure nuff tear right under clamp.   So then I pulled muffler to see how bad she was and she had started to score on the side. Not bad and reusable.

But now this saw will become my 60cc 3450 instead of my other 3450 I just got before this one with perfect p+c that needs carb rebuilt.

So do you already have the p/c to convert it over to 60cc.

I had that on  3450 before these last 2 I got.  It was a parts saw 3450 with black tank with like new 60cc p+c. Missing all covers and top handle.

That should make a great running saw when your done.   I know I sure like those 3750's.    I have never found a 3450 60cc saw yet.   I do keep and eye out for one though.

This 3450 that had 60cc topend wasnt a type 3 going by sticker on the tank.  Maybe the tank or the topend has been replaced in the past. Dont know but feel lucky getting the top as a bonus.

I forget to add  60cc ring 530036176 to my order. I ordered 2 54cc for extras.  I am thinking I used my last 2 60cc rings already. Hoping 1 still out there.  Know the used 1 on the piston is there. Guess I can check it.

Mowers4u has the oem rings for $2.60 plus $3something ship.

Grabbed a pic while messing with the new 3.0 and pp475. Tried to show the rip right under intake clamp. But it didnt come out.
