So that one that I ordered won't fit.

?  about any poulan will fit. Just a matter if you want a brake or not.   3000 3300 365 335 305, 380 330 3750 3450 etc etc

I ordered the part number I listed from sears

If you ordered that part number,  that is the chain brake for a Poulan 330.  It should fit ok.
PP 505, 475, 445.

Thanks for the help guys. This saw was untouched still has epa caps on the carb. Do these series saws respond to a muffler mod and re tuning as good as the 3400 saws. I'm looking to make this a bucking saw and use my muffler mod 026 for the smaller stuff.

Yes these are good saws that cut well and decent power for their size.   A muffler mod will help.
PP 505, 475, 445.

Okay I replaced a husqvarna 455 rancher so I figured about the same power but less weight.
