I am wanting to run a 16'' 3/8 .050 K041 bar on my 330 and have had no luck finding one...can anybody have a good one to let go or can anyone provide a link on this wonderful internet where to get one. I have had no luck.

This here is a 16" K041 mount bar for Poulans.   The number on the bar is 530044556.   You can google this number and it should get help you get into something.  I forgot to add it is .050 and 3/8.

I forgot all about oldpart and the bars that he has listed.  Thanks for bringing that up again.

John just recently there were a few new 3/8-.050G K041 bars on feebay.  Gotta be careful that you don't buy a 3/8LP bar however.   Many 16-20" K041/A041 bars intended for WildThing type saws are LP.

You can also use a K095 ('small Husky') bar if you modify it a bit.  Just have to oblong the adjuster holes a tad (towards the bar rail) and slot a passage from the groove to the adjuster holes (as K041 saws oil through the adjuster holes).  Did that with a Husqvarna branded .325-.058G Oregon Power Match bar for my PP330.  Used a dremel with a reinforced cutoff wheel to slot down from the groove into the adjuster holes.

Oils fine.  Had to file the stud slot just a hair as well as it was TIGHT on the studs.  Also have to 'aim' the tensioner peg so that it goes into the adjuster hole as the peg 'sags' down a bit when there isn't a bar on the saw.  A little prod with the screwdriver was all it took.

This is what I did with my 2800,3000,3300 and my 3.3 in .325 but I cannot find a 16'' in 3/8 for my 330 with the husky lable.

A few months ago there was a guy selling a bunch of 'shelf worn' NOS laminated Husky labeled ProLite 3/8-.050 16" and 18" bars on feebay.

So i got this nice used saw yesterday and the chain brake cover is burned up. I looked for some part numbers and some sites say it's not available while sears parts direct has this part number 952069321 for 330 type 1/2 and for 330 does any one know if this will fit also where is the best place to get the bronze tank vents. Thanks in advance.

That is from running the saw with the chain brake on.   If you have found that some sites have that listed as NLA then sears will not have it either even though they list it.   I believe a Poulan 365 and 380 might be the same.

I was just doing some looking and ereplacement parts shows it available and Jack's small engine.
