The 365 and 3500 all had the front exit from what I have seen.

Info on the 3450 I am waiting on.

-

Saw started and ran 2 months ago, I havent started it since...buying as is..no guarantees....Air filter knob turns but wont come off..dont know why...no time to check it.

-

Never heard of that problem before. The AF knob turns but wont loosen for removal.  Guessing the metal insert must have let go.

Anyone?

I'm guessing that either the threaded insert inside the knob has broke loose (like you're thinking)......or maybe the stud in the AF mounting bulkhead has broken loose and is turning.

Yep.   That's the muffler on the PP S-380 I'm working on.

This is the side outlet type that was on the PP330 I had a while back.

I have 365 and 3500 with side exits.

I have never seen a side exit on a 365 or 3500.    I will have to start looking closer when I see a picture.

The brass threaded insert that is inside the knob broke loose.   I just pulled straight back and AF cover came off insert leaving it on the stud.

3450 is missing type sticker.  But is is a 54cc with hand guard, green tank and small spike.  Has Timbermaster on clutch cover.
