Finished up the 1 owner poulan 3450 20" I got from original owner.  First 3450 I have seen come with the HDA137 carb. Most of them come with the HDA164.  137 was used on the PP380 mostly.
This 137 had a slight problem since new IMHO. Noticed when taking carb apart the diaphragm side with check valve flaps. One flap was partially covered by the gasket.  This could have been the issue with this carb.
Thought wrong gasket. But it looked right.
So I just went out and checked. The gasket is right and the diaphragm is right. The diaphragm was double punched on its locating tab holes. Elongating them.  So when it was installed at factory or if someone rebuilt it before it was off if you didnt pay attention to it closely.
I put a poulan OEM 16" 3/8 050 60DL K041 bar on it for testing with today.

I cant recall on all of them anymore. I have had many of the 3750 Timbermaster and TA's.

Bought another poulan 330 to put on the shelf in line for a look see someday.   Sold as a runner with 22".

:o :D newest 330 arrived. Guy had told me he welded a hole in the front muffler cover.  But hadnt mentioned he welded 1 of the muffler bolts to the front cover too.   :P  Guess some grinding is in order for a look see some day.  :D

Started on this one today.

Bought this poulan 330  as a runner. Sure it probably ran but felt something wasnt right pulling over slowing today. Felt like it was hitting in the squish band
Also had a welded up front muffler cover I had to use small disc tool to grind welds to remove bolts earlier.
Could see slight erosion on the very top front lip of piston once cover was off.

We were going 2 routes for the damage on the CR group.

Well that settles it. It is magnetic. Even the spatter on top of front of piston the magnetic sticks to it. So has to be from the welding. JMO

Never thought the guy would have welded up the muffler with it on the saw. STH lol

Oh my....

Lucky for me I got it and not someone else not going to check them over before use. There was a line to buy it when I grabbed it.

I got all the parts on the shelf to do it in 54cc or 60cc.

Cant believe the guy that welded muffler and ran it later didnt feel the resistance of splatter at the top of piston in squish when pulled over.   :D
