Hate seeing the little independent guys shop closing.
So I got what I really wanted and some I didnt really want.
He said the auction will be happening soon with what is left. Mostly mower stuff now.

Not bad checking it over.  8)
Topend through plug hole looking at cylinder ext side looked sweet.
Was missing 2 fasteners and 2 tank nuts on the upper left av mount  :o. Cant believe they didnt rip the right top cylinder handle av due to this.
3 wrong recoil fasteners = I have.
Missing tank handle insert = " ".  503427502
Looks like someone had made and rerun the  on/off wire to coil over time. Routed wrong which I will try and make right.
Oh the usual inner clutch cover deform I will fix later too.

Finally finished testing the PP415 65cc I picked up from a closing shop. Ran fine at full throttle in the cuts but couldnt get it to idle very long before it stopped. All the tuning in the world no help. So I started digging.
Suppose to have been ready to cut. He said he had been in the carb. Well maybe he was. But the fulcrum was bent side ways and the carb kit was getting real iffy.
So cleaned carb and put new kit in it. Still same problem.
Being I had a 2083 that I had just rebuilt the carb and knew it was known good I swapped it in. Good to go.
Figured the L side has some blockage somewhere.
65cc with 24" full comp buried in dry ash. 100% satisfied with it now.

Calling it a day. 😎😋
Getting ready to meet someone halfway across Ohio with a few saws.
The PP415 that I just recently bought. Pulled the muffler to make sure even though looked through plug hole when I was checking things. Piston still has like new witness marks on the piston.

Another find. Now this one is more to my liking.
Will be putting the full wrap and set of big dawgs I have on hand on WT505.

I got used to a full wrap on the 385 when I was running it with the 505. Sold the 385 and kept the 505.

Full wrap 415 showed up today. No time to dig in. But looks like low usage for fire dept saw.

Crap chain and wrong bar mount =  D176. But hey they were close.

They had ground down the big dawg almost to the case due to bolting to the full wrap. Handel in great shape and all I cared about.    1990 and with older air filter and tank set up.

Waiting it's turn in line. Paying saws first.
