How do you tell the difference between the regular and bp models?

655 BP = Boost Ports

Quote from: pioneerguy
If it is a true BP655 then it has a cylinder with an extra port that allows a little extra fuel air mix to reach the top of the piston and thus create a little extra power. The BP stands for boost port or at least that is what I have always heard and believed.

The Bp stands for boost port which was added shortly after the 655 was introduced. The 655 is the P65 with different decals.

Yep. "Boost Port" is straight out of the dealer support manual.
