Re: Poulan Saw ID

Wanted to mention that I put the piston out of this saw in a Poulan Pro 46cc. It was too tall, hit top, so I turned it in my lathe and made a popup piston. I took more off than I ment to leaving about .038" squish, I put the small carb for one of these on and gutted the muffler with a short tube and it does pretty good, with more precise piston cutting with the lathe and a bigger carb I think it would be hard to beat in it's class.

This saw was for a friend and now I can't find a piston to do up my 46cc craftsman, at a cheap price anyway.

Figured yall allready new this but just in case thought Id mention it.
Thanks,
DJ
