The earlier poulan wild thing I like is the poulan 2375 with throttle lock.

You can see how off my purple was on the 505 wild thing.  :D

I thought I would slip this in with the other wild things.

I got this for free the other day with the case.   It had a scored piston and cylinder that looked like it had been straight gassed.   I found another piston and cylinder on ebay with shipping for 35.00.   Opened the muffler a little and filed the chain some and we have a nice little saw.   Will make a great loaner.   I never had one of these before and working on it with the new carb and ports for the low emissions was interesting to see.  Here is a pic.

New owner said he already made some cuts with the 2375 today. He ask which carb screws H L  the 2375 had. I dont remember if screwdriver or special spline tool.

Anyone know off hand? Told them just take a flashlight and look to see through rubber cover.

WildThang098  everyone says spline.

I honestly cant remember even after fine tuning it.

I tuned fat at 32:1  93 octane, what are you running for mix and ratio?

I am running 93 Octane with poulan synthetic 2 stroke oil 40:1. I modded the muffler it starts up super easy now. I wanted to tinker with carb alittle because at wide open throttle when cutting I think she needs a tad more fuel.

you could take the carb off and cut a slot with a thin dremel disc.....or jam a wire splice barrel connector on a small screw driver .... take the grommet of and push it onto the splined screw for small adjust.... i have done both.... i like the dremel option ..... or you could buy a spline tool.....good luck
