Well, it looks like I cranked down the nuts too tight at some point, when removing and reinstalling the carbs.  The plastic adapter spacer between the carb and intake is ****.  <- Why is there a filter on the word "c r a c k e d"???

I guess I have to order a new one of those.   :-[

That is probably where the extra air was being sucked in.

I'm actually considering buying a new saw at this point.  Menards has a clearance sale on a 42CC Poulan Predator.
I dont know why C racked is filtered either. Been trying to figure it out myself. Didnt used to be. But I am to puter stupid to figure it out as it isnt a banned word.

got it to take crack but not crack ed above so  crack'ed hmmmm till I try again.  :P
