PP365 PP445 chosen for duty
« on: June 05, 2014, 12:50:58 pm »
Dad called and told me I lost some 20" pines that almost took out my cow shed down south.  I picked my just rebuilt PP365 with 20" 3/8 and my fav in this series PP445 with 20" 3/8.

My camera has been fubarring with me lately so if I get any pics I will have to try my wives camera (acts like it is dead even when new batts installed and just shuts down without taking pic  ???).  I'm not real big on pics during work so dont  hold your breath waiting for them.

Just trying to learn wife's camera before taking off.

OK takes huge pics and have to resize before uploading to site.  Also notice if to be still or the pics are fuzzy like some show.

Sorry guys I just cant do the pic thing once I get started.

1 down. The smaller pine didnt take the full 20" bar so I used the 365 to break it in. Dad used the 2000 to limb with. One I bought new in 94 and gave to him later on.

The 365 should cut through that pine like a hot knife in butter.
PP 505, 475, 445.

It was. Even the 365 making it's 1st cuts on new piston kit. The pine was no challenge for it.

The only challenge was me. Cutting on wrong side working my way up the hill. Took 3 times before woke up and  I went on the upper side after the rounds would fall and roll down into my left foot shin area. Duh moment

Todays bigger pine isnt near the cow shed but up straight behind it on the steep part of hill. My dad had actually flipped the 4wheeler in this area 1 year before. I'm not looking foward to the walk up to the dang thing.

Time to go. Just taking PP365 for the pine on hill.

Dad just informed me there was a seasoned oak he needs cut up for the smoker so he can split it ( 275gal heating oil tank). PP445 will get that job. He stated his 3300 54cc .325 20" struggled on that log.

Pine on hill was only 18" at about 3' from ground, used 365 again.  Got a pic at about 16" when I was taken a break.

The seasoned oak was 18" and could not even slow the 445 down. Dang I love this saw. Dad couldnt believe how it flew through the log his 3300 struggled with.  ;D

Also cut up a smaller poplar that was down across the trail. No pic of this one.

Will have to resize pics for posting here using the software here.
