You're correct. Stihl does offer 1/4 chain but doesn't mention lengths. Maybe I'm better off putting a 3/8 sprocket on the saw which probably means I would need to buy another bar.

I might have 3/8 stuff you can have.  Drum etc. 

Aaron what all would he need? Not counting a bar chain etc. Drum spur only?

Yep.  Spur drum and a corresponding bar and chain.  All other parts are the same on these.

That's what I like about the more common vintage saws. Plenty of parts are still available with some parts currently manufactured.
