Skill branded Poulan S25-CVA. Good saw. I see that one has a 'custom' manual oiler button. I must be getting a handle on CAD (finally). I'm able to resist this one. Got enough S25-CVA's already.....
And how many would that be?
Lessee.......
-One runner S25-CVA in the 'working stable' (limbed a 100' or so tall redwood with it on Saturday after my 272XP threw a chain). It's a strong dependable little saw after a fuel system rehab and crank seal replacement.
-One 'almost runner' S25-CVA that needs an AV mount, fuel system rehab, and crank seals.
-One really nice Craftsman red S25-CVA that's making it's way to me from Canada. Just needs a fuel system rehab and seals.
-One cosmetically cherry S25-CVA with a scored piston and a cylinder that may clean up. Waiting for its turn on the bench.
-One somewhat stripped parts S25-CVA with a roached P/C.
That's just the CVA models. Got a few 'non-AV' 25DA and S25DA versions too.
-One Craftsman red 25DA waiting it's turn on the bench. Got a good used P/C and some NOS rings for it. After swapping those in and doing the usual fuel system rehab and crank seal replacement, it'll be good to go.
-One yellow/black Poulan Pro badged S25DA. Cherry P/C. Waiting on cleaning (it's filthy), fuel system rehab, and seals.
-Another dirty PP branded S25DA with a good P/C, but missing some parts. May pull the P/C and ignition for the green S25-CVA with the scored piston.
-Another dirty PP branded S25DA (all three came from the same source) that's missing parts. Looks like the P/C WERE cherry until some dipshit put a BOLT into the exhaust port to act as a piston stop. Two large 'threaded' bolt shaped half-circle indentations in the piston crown. Top ring's buggered. Cylinder may or may not be damaged...
And then there's the Micros (and Micro 'relatives'). That's another (growing) list......
