Even though I know what size I use in these other poulans. I thought I would post what OEM says so it might help some others out if needed.

Cut4fun and I are lucky. We go to the local junk store (we call it the Mall) and there are rolls of Tygon F-4040A and we buy a few feet of the size that looks about right. This happens to be the 3/16 X 3/32. We buy a little of the other sizes too just in case? We keep Tygon on hand for when ever the need occurs.

A friend called this morning telling me that he just bought a bar and chain for his chainsaw at the mall.

The chain I sharpened for a guy that was bought at the Shelby Mall Jim was forester 3/8.  Maybe all the chain they sale is this brand?

It think most of what they have comes from Stens?

The guy that I talked to on the phone today said the bar was a GB .058. He didn't mention what the chain was. I know they have rolls of chain but I never bought any bars or chains there. Our friend has bought several at the mall.

I know the carb kits are Stens and I think the bars from Stens are Foresters? Silver Steak chain?

You never know about that place as he buys out surplus inventory at times.

McMaster Carr carries tygon 4040a fuel line
I have most of the sizes up to 3/8...for lawn mowers and my British bikes.

These 2 are for my saws. I get 25' at a time.
5/64"   9/64"   1/32"   5552K43   $0.82/ft
3/32"   3/16"   3/64"   5552K22   $0.75/ft
If the tank hole is a bit big the you can use a barbed union to swell the line. I think this was SOP on poulan micro XXV/1800/2000/2300 etc.
union pn 530023877 or rotary 13448 less than a buck.

32 saws

The double barb fitting on the Micros lived above the tank (just outside of it).  There's a little recess to hold it in place.  The fitting is there to allow you to take the tank and left side cover off to service the starter and such.

The fitting does also do quite well in the manner that you describe (passing partially through the tank hole to swell the line and lock it in place).  I used one when I put an earlier style vent setup on my PP330.
