These are some old pictures I took of a Poulan 260 and thought maybe they will help.   Does not hurt to try anyways.

Thanks FPS..based on your pics its a little different from my set up. The line that connects to the right-upper side barb on the carb is the main fuel line with the filter in the tank? The hose entering the tank on the right side is the return line coming from the primer bulb? The other line from the bulb connects to the barb on left-lower part of the carb?

What you described sounds just like the setup in my pictures of the Poulan 260.

I'm betting his impulse line off the cylinder goes on the back of the black intake somewhere.

Then all the other carb lines hook up the same.

Just look at the carb gasket and look and see if there is an extra hole for the impulse.

His pics show 2 holes in gasket. Thats what makes me think it does. Carb pic shows 2 too.  ;)

Just pulled that ribbed insulator block and there are no holes or barbs for an impulse hose to connect to? Maybe the carb just needs a new needle valve as it floods out real bad when I just crank it over. Gotta be someone out there with this model just to confirm the hoses are connected properly. I think there may be a Sears Craftsman model which may be the same as the Snapper and Poulan?

Your saying then 1 for fuel 1 for return to tank and then 1 for impulse (where is it).

On your cab I only see 2 line nipples? Is there a 3rd one hidden?

Also where did you set the fulcrum height when you rebuilt the carb?

I'm going to grab a 260 2150 I have in parts of the shelf to look closer and pics.

See if your cylinder looks like this?  Notice the bolt hole in cylinder for AV mount.  Also there is 2 bosses that run to transfer area and maybe nipple installed for impulse like yours?

Could you send or post pics of your cylinder and intake.
