I dont think this carb is one of them and not your issue. But using high pressure air can ruin some carbs. 

Kevin the WA/WT carbs are in that "can be ruined by high pressure compressed air" camp.

If a crank seal (or both) is bad, the saw will have weak impulse signal.  These saws have a LONG fuel line.  If the pump section of the carb is sketchy (old diaphragm, diaphragm/gasket in wrong order, plugged screen) and/or the impulse signal is weak, they won't pull fuel well at all.

Seals are 530019059, available from Poulan and Husqvarna parts sources (same #) for about $4 each.  They're easy to change too.  Aftermarket # for these seals is SKF4913.

I'd have to look at both carbs.  I don't have the carb #'s for the Micro series sorted out.  If the throttle bore and venturi sizes are the same, the fuel line barb is in the same location and angled roughly the same, the impulse hole is in the same spot, the throttle arm is the same, and they have the same choke setup..................then I'd run it.

DAMN!! do I feel like a boob or what!! (but then again, boobs are a good thing, right?)

Seems that when I put the carb gasket on (ie, the one I had to fab up) - I neglected to punch the PULSE HOLE in it so the carb can pump fuel....

Problem solved now - I'm just glad its the little things ....sigh!
