There's been 145 viewers of the Tim Allen saw as of this afternoon but only 6 different bidders so far. In my experience with eBay, the winning bidder is often not an early bidder. ie, their winning bid is the only time they show up.
Someone will get this pretty nice saw as I didn't put a reserve on it. At the price it's at now, it would be a great deal just for firewooding. I suspect it will go much higher. I really thought it would get picked up on AS but nothing happened there. Most of the saws I've listed on AS don't sell there. I typically post them up for a few days and then sell them on the Atlanta CL. This saw seemed unique enough I thought I'd give it a go on eBay. I rebuild quite a few saws but mostly Stihl 1127 series and I don't bother posting those online as they're prolific so no need to mail them. I have one or two on CL most of the time in the winter. This Poulan has been sort of a fun experience to stumble into it while on a road trip and then find out it is a desirable collector's item.
Well, how desirable it is will be known about 9 days from now.

Yeah, on AS I'm fearofpavement. I don't usually use the same handle on multiple sites. I have no idea what the saw will sell for. Post Christmas a lot of people are strapped for dollars but maybe someone got some cash they need to get rid of. Hard to know. Guess it depends on how badly at least two people want it.

eBay sale ends today. 40 people are watching it but not that many bidders so far. It's at $147.50 at present.
My Allis Chalmers 75-A saw (S25DA) is ending tomorrow and that's up to $182.50 so far.

I expect the Tim Allen saw to go above $300 and the AC saw to top out in the mid 200's. That's just a guestimate of course and with eBay, one never knows. I've seen stuff sell on there for $200 that I wouldn't have paid more than $35 for. Never can tell. Interesting point on the AC saw is that the high bidder is the person that already purchased the other one from me (I had two). They didn't bid until they received the first one in the mail. Must have liked what they saw. I do try to give very accurate descriptions of my items so someone won't be surprised either way.

Should we start a poll on what the final bid on the TA 3450 will be? WITHOUT shipping. Just the final saw bid.

Closest wins all expense trip to Hawaii.  NOT!!!!!!!!!!   :D ;)

Well, I think someone got a great deal. It went for far less than I estimated so no trip to the Bahamas for me. $167.50.
