Just read this. = Weighed with a Rapalla digital fishing scale:
My Poulan 3300 54cc w/20" weighed 16lb 1oz Full of fuel & oil. Two pounds lighter than a MS290 56cc w/18". Also fuel & oil topped up.

Me, I know my dad bought his 3300 new back in 89 or so with 20".  I gave him a like brand new MS290 and he gave it back to me a few months later. Preferred his 3300.

Looking at the saw on the right and bottom I am guessing 3300.  Seller dont know but swears it isnt a 3300 but though 3600.  I am still going with 3300 till I can see in person.

Anybody else see anything to identify this 54cc, Other one I was told 3750 but  could see 3450 right off in pic.

I would have to look at my saws again.   The difference in the air filter, fly wheel, and the cylinder top makes me want to look.

Got all the old saws loaded up from dads barn.

He said the poulan 3300 was bought new in 1993. Not 89 like I had thought.
Also the poulan 2000 I had gave him and I had bought new back in 1994.
Mini mac top handle he thinks bought new 1979.

Plus the easy start 180 that replaced the 2000 that replaced the mini mac.   180 was acting wonking he said and now wont fire.

Leaving him the cub cadet 5020 aka efco 152 with decomp to replace the 3300.

Just going to clean up the barn grime and shelf them for now.

Will try to do a before after cleaning pics. Not much just going to try that wd40 stuff on them.

The 3 aint going back. 3300 2000 minimac. They are mine now.

He is sticking with easy start 180 I gave him and the decomp 152 I am giving him. He has got up there in the age that it is hard to pull them over now. Age 79 and battle with cancer last year has taken their toll.

Enjoyed setting a new deer stand with him and dragging my dang deer out.
Bet I take some saws and clear that logging road out next year. That way can take the 6x6 or atv back to the deer.

Dads saws back with me. Left the yellow 152 to replace the 3300 he bought new in 93. The 2000 I bought in 94 replaced the minimac he bought in 79. The 180 easy start replaced those 2.
But the 180 he said started acting wonky. When I was down there it wouldnt even fire off.
Between processing a deer today I took a quick look. IMO just time for a carb. Will run long as I squirt mix in it. I wont waste time rebuilding as these are to cheap new.
The other 3 are just getting cleaned someday and going on the shelf.

Folks needing some poulan top ends for these on CRG. I checked my stash today. All the piston and cylinders look good from just looking in.

I remember 54cc is 46.5mm  and 60cc was 49mm.  Bt for life of me cant recall 46cc 49cc bore mm. Guess I need to look it up.

Pulled one on left. Bare bore and has 54cc on tank but a 3.0.  My  digital calibers are messing with me in the cold. Thinking 44mm or 44.3mm but any how 49cc bare bore 3.0 pulled. Chrome piston

Hoping for a 3.3 too. Next up other grey

Anyone recall the max rpm on the 3300 3.3 bare bores?  I am guessing 12K to 12.5K
Guy I sent a topend to for a rebuild is asking and I cant remember where I end up on these.
