Another nice score Tim.  I like those Micros a lot.  Yours does look to be an early 2300CVA.  Notice the 'foot' at the bottom/front of the saw.  Interesting.  I worked on more than a few grey/back Craftsman versions of Kevin's late style 2300CVA in the 1990's.

Really digging the special CA spec Poulans and Homelites you keep coming up with (Do I spy french on the clutch cover?).  Now really impress me and find one of those Super XXV-CVA Mini-Pro saws with the CB, Windsor Mini-Pro bar, and .325 chain as pictured on Acres.  I'll be setting up the saw you sent me like that, except for the .325 chain.  I have a mini-pro bar already.  If I can ever find a .325 nine spline rim (for my nine spline drum), I'll put a .325 pitch tip on the mini-pro bar and see how the saw handles that chain.  I have 3/8-LP and 1/4 pitch rims...

A nine pin rim with a .325 chain.    Did I read that right?     Those engines have a enough torque to handle that?
