I got the tool in and it took about 10 minutes to adjust.  I ended up turning the H CCW about 1/2 turn.  Runs great now!  As for dying, I had that problem when I turned the L CCW.  I ended up turning it back CW until it would stay running and idle well.

I am no pro, but I went about 1/4 turn then test then repeat until I got it right. 

It runs as good as my Stihl now!
