When one of those jet ones crashes, there is a big ball of fire and the jet fuel sets the weeds on fire just like the full size ones.

I noticed in the video there was two guys with radios.  One was flying the plane,  but was the other there for the landing gear and other none flying items or does it take two to fly it.

This is my second reply as the site crashed on my first one.

Yes, they split the task up. Like in pilot and copilot.

Also there are several receivers in the plane.

The unplugable parts like the wings with their own engines have their own radio systems.

The engines have synchronizers that keep all four engines in sync to suppress harmonic vibration.

Here's a 84cc gasoline four stroke. The Walbro is a barrel type. It will run in the high 6,000 rpm area to effectively take advantage of the prop. A 24 fluid once gas tank will be fine for a 12-15min flight.  It uses a spark plug a lot like the plug in a Husqvarna 550 except that it is non resister and shorter threads. NGK CM-6 and is the same plug used in a Honda generator. The ignition is shielded and there is a resistor in the shielded spark plug cap.

You could buy a new 660 with a 25" bar and chain for what that Saito 84 radial costs.

One question.....for the sake of discussion.

This claims to be the worlds largest radio controlled aircraft.

What about military drones, wouldn't that be just a 'tad' larger?

Needless to say, the amount of time and cha-ching involved in making and maintaining something like this....WOW.  Seems a pair of fellas would need some very understanding wives too!  The amount of 'space' to fly this has to be enormous also.....
