The USA made units are the best but they are more expensive. The Chinese just copy the USA units. However most Chinese ignitions are terrible. The only good Chinese one is the RCEXL. The RCEXL is very reliable.

You can get these ignitions for use with LiPo batteries as well as Nicad's. Call these guys and talk to them.
