I think it's going to affect the US & Canada only. Redmax has been trying to push dealers to stock more of their chainsaws for the last few years.

I checked and I think we've only sold about 2 dozen of their chainsaws over the years not counting the pole saws.

Still have a G5000 and some GZ3500T's in stock along with a couple G3200's I've stashed for myself. One is a prototype serial # 0005.

Well, this is now confirmed as the saws are already out of the current Red Max catelog. There are still some in the distributor pipeline. I'm not really interested, but should they decide to blow them out at a discount............... ;D

I think it's going to affect the US & Canada only. .....

I'm betting just the Redmax brand in US.  Hopefully Zenoah brand stays around for overseas markets at least.

I suspect you both are right - as far as I can see Zenoah is still marketing the saws on other markets.  :)

The Zenoah model airplane engines are still around.

I put a new cylinder on one three years ago and the cylinder box said Husqvarna on it. I was able to buy a cylinder without a piston.

Our local small engine shop is down to 1 Redmax saw, but he now has a Jonsered for sale also. I hope he continues to add more Jonsered saws to his inventory.
