RedMax 5300 VG condition. Whats it worth?

Friend of mine has got one of these 353 clones with a OE 346xp OEM P/C kit on it.  Runs really strong, and good shape.  Has a 16" Carlton B/C as well.  Whats it worth?  He's asking $300.  Too much?

I was thinking 3 max in great condition. 2 - 2.5 is the norm

I ended up with it for around $200+.   Gave him $200 cash and an old Homlite 150 parts saw.  So I think I did good.  Since there is no RedMax anymore, if figure it might be a collectors item someday.  Does anyone know who bought them out?

Husqvarna. The 5300 is just a red Husqvarna 353.
