Favorite woods cutting with partner

Who is your favorite cutting with partner in the woods?

Just had to save this. So Thought why not a thread.

That has been some of my most favorite time with my dad right now. I try to soak it all in the memory bank and enjoy it sharing time in the woods.
He still uses the poulan 3300 he bought new late 80's. I gave a him a trim saw 2000 bought new in 94.
I always take poulans down there when we are cutting. Last time was a 445 3450.

He pointed out some monster poplars dieing on my land that need dropped over Thanksgiving. Like 12 of them. So getting some 32" 24" 20" set ups ready to do battle this spring.

Enjoy time with family, you just never know if we or one of them are here tomorrow.

In the past I have enjoyed cutting wood with my oldest son (40). His favorite saw is a Poulan 1997 3500 I gave him 12 years ago. He seems to take good care of it. I've had to replace the fuel filter a couple times and put diaphragms in the HDA49 carb once. It has the original chain that has always been sharpened by hand. He sharpens it sometimes and sometimes I sharpen it. This time if he brings it to my house, I'm sharpening it on the Oregon 511A.

I've also dropped and cut up 10 trees in the yard with my oldest step grandson. He has done most of the bending over to pick up the wood. He likes my Dolmar 115 the best.

This last year I made 5 separate trips up to the mountains for dead pine.   All with different people so they could get some firewood.   My favorite is with my wife when her and I were getting firewood for ourselves, which I am burning to night by the way.
PP 505, 475, 445.

Yes I had a good firewood trip one time with my wife and grand daughters. The wife ran the saw maybe more than I did. The grand daughters took it all to the truck and loaded it. I spent the time when not running the chainsaw sharpening chains. We were cutting fallen dead wood.
