I thought it was in the first post of this thread but Kevin had already put the ported cylinder on the 346 OE.

But we did run the old and the new stock together at one time and there was a noticeable torque increase on the NE.

The OE did its best, more or less, to let it feed itself and not push on the bar.
We should share what we know... someone may learn...
That knowledge can live after us... and that "Pays It Forward".
