Old Oak
« on: January 19, 2012, 11:15:29 am »
Here is an old oak I took down. It was in the corner of our old hay field. Going to build the grandkids a little camp here. 20" bar on a 7200 Efco. Had to bore thru the notch.

This spot is where two fields meet. Nice spot the looks down at the village. The old house is Dads, the new one on the hill belongs to my niece. We had our own 5 hole golf course here 15 years ago.

Deer stand is under the arrow. 20 acre clearcut behind treeline. A nice funnel left standing between the two 10 acre cuts. Regen is now 4-6 feet tall.

The stroked 156 Efco will blow the 7200 away.
Not going to try starting the 075 again until spring. Fingers are still numb from the handle being pulled from my grasp. Cord broke after the 5th time. New pull cord and decomp before I tackle that saw again.

That warmed over stock 166 numbed my fingers so bad once when it was cold cold cold it broke the T handle in half. 460 rescue handle fixed that.

Bad thing Al is that I have 5 D handles hanging on the wall. Never was a bright kid.

Between a 2100 Huskey,a souped 038 Mag and an 084 that nearly pulled my fingers off I about had to go to a D-handle while I had an arm left .
