I recently sold my Alaskan mill along with 30 feet of 2"×4" aluminum rails .
Pictured here notice the levelers I built into the 20 footers. The 10 footers you don't need them .
I've join them end to end a few times to make 32 ft beams.

That looks real good, kinda wish I hadn't showed mine after seeing those.

It also looks very cold too, makes my bones hurt just seein all that snow.

Snow is easy to get used to if you live here long enough. ;D
In a few months it will be in the 90's with lots of humidity.
I bought those aluminum tubing (2"×4"×1/8") 25 years ago. Originally came as two 30 footers. Cost around $300 delivered from 300 miles away.  Priced them out a few weeks ago and I can get them for under $400 ($312 USD). Good investment I got alot of use out of them.

That looks real good, very nice. You said beetles, are they pine beetles? These southern pine beetles here in Ga. can do some serious damage quick. I've lost some nice pines here lately and I sure hope it aint them things. Wish I could build a table nice as yours too.

Yes it is a beetle that get under the bark and kills the tree.   Out west there are thousands of trees that have been infected and died.
The table was simple to make.   Some wood screws and glue is all it takes.

So I have been working on a bench to match the table.   Making progress.

The best part is I get to burn all the scraps.
